Cinzia Romanin (1995) is a Belgian and Italian visual artist living in France. Aware of the importance of encouraging representations in a society increasingly governed by Anthropocene sceneries, she decided, after completing a master degree in architecture (La Cambre Horta, Brussels), to continue her studies with another master degree in photography (IUAV, Venice). Highly concerned in the overlap of social, environmental and territorial dimensions, she since then regularly collaborates with museums, arts centres, schools, NGO and researchers by using (audio)visual medium as a democratic and reflective means of expression. Through various experiments carried out using her large-format camera and alternative printing techniques, her work immerses us in sensitive and committed worlds to reconsider ways of inhabiting tomorrow’s world.
