Combining personal narratives and landscape metamorphoses observations, Transcendence aims to portray a young generation lost between eco-anxiety and the desire to initiate deep changes. By exploring subjects such as resilience, degrowth, alternative ways of living, eco-feminism, speciesism, committed communities and dubious techno-utopian innovations, this project invites us to slow down to take the time to think about the world we want to live in.

Terragraphy
1/8
As an immersion in the earth-based construction world, Terragraphy is revealing a relatively unknown imagery made up of specific gestures and artisanal tools transmitted through generations. Wishing to convey the poetry of a sustainable material which can be reshaped ad infinitum before melting back to its original ground, this visual research proposes to enhance raw earth as a creative and living body. In that sense, by using handcrafted clay-made films and earth pigments, the Terragraphy projecthas been an opportunity to dare to invent sensitive explorations in which the subject becomes the object by revealing each image through its own materiality.

Frozen silences
1/3
Alone behind my window, I listen to howling sirens that punctuate the frozen silences which have settled over the last few weeks. As the radio news comes on for the tenth time of the day, I hear the unbearable number of victims which continues to rise. Just as a George Orwell’s dystopian tale, the increasing omnipresence of medias, social control, propagandas and meaningless bans punctuates now my daily life. What I thought at the time was an ephemeral and insignificant phenomenon is now transforming my relation to others, to the city, to nature. Faced to this scenery in apnea, I suddenly realise that, alone, we are more vulnerable than ever.
